Sleeping in the vehicle is restricted in Slovenia and depends on where you stop. A tent needs a campsite or the landowner's word. A pitch runs about €18 a night.

🔥 Fire only in a properly prepared fireplace, cleared a metre around, supervised, and never above 20 km/h mean wind. No open fire at all in the Karst forests. A stove in a prepared fireplace is outside the regulation entirely.
