From eznamka.sk, checked 2026-08-11. Every M1 vehicle is on the e-vignette whatever its weight (eznamka.sk; law 488/2013 § 2); lorries and buses over 3.5 t pay the distance toll. A caravan needs its own e-vignette when the car's and the caravan's technical maximum weights add up to over 3.5 t — that second vignette is not yet added to the trip's cost.
How a visitor pays
An electronic vignette on the plate, bought on eznamka.sk, in the app or at petrol stations: 1 day, 10 days, 30 days or a year. Not every motorway section is charged, but a plate seen on a charged one without a vignette is fined by post. Over 3.5 t: distance toll with an on-board unit.
