How a visitor pays
About ten motorway sections and two tunnels charge at a plaza, by card or cash, a car two to three euro each. The M50 around Dublin has no barriers: the camera reads the plate and you pay by 20:00 the next day on eflow.ie, or in a shop showing the Payzone sign. The Dublin Port Tunnel costs several times its off-peak price at the weekday peak.
Pay with a tag
An eFlow tag from an Irish operator pays the M50 cameras and the barrier plazas at a discount; without one the M50 is paid online by 20:00 the next day.
