Camping near Lake Bled

Sleeping in your vehicle or a tent in Slovenia

• 🚐 In the vehicle: Allowed with real exceptions — depends on the place. Slovenia — camping in a public place not designated for it, or on private land without the owner's consent, is an offence. In Triglav National Park, parking a vehicle used for living outside designated places is separately banned, €100–1,000.
• ⛺ A tent outside a campsite: Camping in a public place not designated for it, or on private land without the owner's consent, is an offence — though notably the nature-conservation act carries no blanket ban, so it is public-order law rather than nature law. Triglav National Park bans tents outside designated places unless the park manager consents; €100–1,000. (ZJRM-1 art. 18; Triglav: ZTNP-1 art. 13(1) pts. 45–46, penalties art. 65)
• 🅿️ 20 rest areas and motorway services within 30 km — the nearest Počivališče Lipce (5.7 km), Počivališče Radovljica (6.7 km), Počivališče Jesenice (11 km).
